Stress

Stress is one of the main causes of death in today's society due to the fact that in this modern era, everything is moving at a fast pace. Timetables, deadlines, Date of submission etc etc.

With all the reports, presentation, tests to study and everything else piling up... My level of stress has increased tremendously. Therefore, I've researched and thought up of some ways to help myself alleviate stress to cope with this busy month. Hopefully, this will help you guys out there as well :)

Simple ways to alleviate stress:

1. Think positively - Keep in mind that things will turn for the better and everything will be alright in the end. You just have to keep working on your problems and works and find solution for them.2. Smile - Smiling uses less muscle and energy compared to frowning. It'll also brighten the days of those around you and they will make life much more bearable.
3. Say no to technology - This is a self note to self. ONLY use the laptop when necessary while doing reports and preparing for presentation. NO facebook!!! Facing the screen for too long only makes a person's eyes more exhausted.

4. Stop procrastinating - Pushing things to do till the last minute will only make a person more stressed than he already is. Start completing tasks NOW! Prepare a timetable to keep you in track. And PLEASE, follow it. It's pointless preparing one and leaving it on the wall without looking.

5. Food and drink - Have a proper balanced diet. Drink loads of water and cut down on the sodas.
Not a balanced diet all filled with food from above but more like food from below.
6. Rest - Have enough rest by ensuring that you have slept 7-8 hours each day (that does not include waking up in the middle of the night). This, I have to work on. All my eyebags are visible. O.O

That's all I can think of for now. You guys can click here to view some interesting, comical cartoons related to stress.

Time for me to get some rest and start cracking on my reports.

With this I shall end:
Give your stress wings and let it fly away.
