When Christmas draws nearer...

Everyones goes tis the season to be jolly, fa la la la laaa-fa la la laa~

Malls and places of interest are filled with decorative xmas themes to get people into the mood of Christmas, the joy and goodwill that comes along with it. Christmas trees (whether the real ones or the plastic ones, big or small) are seen in homes adorned with ornaments that is pleasing to the eyes

People will be seen bustling around in malls trying to pick out appropriate gifts for their loved ones. At the same time, the sales will be on so many of them might just browse to see any good deals available and perhaps, even shop to pamper their ownselves after a year of hard work.

Presents... and the abundance of joy that it brings to children and adults alike.

As we nearly reach Chrismas, carolers can be seen singing on streets and in churches, the peace that can be felt just by listening to the melodic tunes, the urge that is felt to join them... (though it is less here in Malaysia)

Having great meals back at our cosy homes with our dear family, if we're lucky... we might even have turkey on the menu. yummy~ I bet it's the only time of the year when the poor turkeys get sold out.

Lastly, the simple joy of being back at home, feeling the warmth by our familiar and comfortable surroundings with loved ones. I miss my home :( I'm not going back this Christmas. boo-hoo~But I hope the rest of you out there will be able to enjoy your 25th December.

And if you've realized... I've used the word joy a tad too many times. But it is the truth that 25 December each year touches the heart of many around the world.

Joy to the world
The Lord has come
Let Earth receive her king

Let every heart
Prepare Him room
