Baking SOS: 發糕

I usually see it selling outside in pink colour. But trust me, the one my mummy make is the BOMB once you looks pass its not-so-pretty look! I don't know how to call it in English so, those who do, please help me translate!

See, pretty nom nom! with ugly background
Ingredients that you need:
300 gram self raising flour
160 gram brown sugar
2 teaspooon of corn oil OR olive oil
1 tin of evaporated creamer (the brand my mum usually use is Cow Bell)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg (optional)

Once you are ready with the ingredients, lets move on to the procedure :)

1. Add milk, sugar and egg into a blender.
2. Blend the mixture for 1 minute.
3. Add flour and slowly add baking powder and stir it manually for awhile.
4. Keep using the blender and press PULSE several times. This is to ensure that the mixture is thoroughly stirred.
5. Add oil and press the PULSE button for several times over 1 minute.
6. Pour out the mixture into proper baking tins.
7. Steam it for 15 to 20 minutes.

Ta-daa~

Goodluck! For those you just don't do baking, get your mum to do it for you xD
